This Privacy Policy explains how Sanvika Production ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use freeadpostkaro.com and our mobile application (together, the "Service").

This policy is designed to meet the requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, as well as applicable law in India and other regions where we operate.

Data we collect

• Account data: mobile number, name, profile photo, password (hashed), device identifiers (via Sanvika Accounts SSO)
• Listing data: ad title, description, images, category, location, and contact preferences
• Usage data: device type, IP address, app and page interactions, search queries
• Communications: chat messages, support requests, and reports
• Payment data: transaction references and wallet history (payment card data is processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers)
• Location data: approximate or precise location when you choose to set home location or post location-based ads

Legal bases for processing (UK GDPR Article 6)

We process personal data only where a lawful basis applies:

• Contract: to create and manage your account, publish ads, enable buyer–seller contact, process wallet payments, and deliver chat services
• Legitimate interests: to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, improve performance, and enforce our terms — balanced against your rights
• Consent: for optional marketing (including WhatsApp updates where you opt in) and non-essential cookies or analytics where required
• Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, court orders, and regulatory requests

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

How we use data

• To operate the marketplace, show relevant ads, and enable buyer–seller contact
• To prevent fraud, enforce policies, and comply with law
• To send service notifications (not spam marketing without consent)
• To maintain account security, session management, and customer support

Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the Service, including:

• Sanvika Accounts (identity and authentication)
• Hosting and infrastructure (e.g. Vercel, MongoDB Atlas)
• Media storage (Cloudinary via Sanvika gateway)
• Payments (Razorpay)
• Realtime chat, notifications, analytics, and other Sanvika fleet services

Processors are bound by contract to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.

International data transfers

Your data may be processed in India and in other countries where our providers operate (including the United States and the European Economic Area).

When personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we use appropriate safeguards required by UK GDPR, such as:

• the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable
• contractual data-protection clauses with our processors
• transfers to countries recognised as providing adequate protection, where applicable

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for legal, tax, and security reasons. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise data as described on our Account Deletion page.

Your rights (UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018)

If you are in the United Kingdom (or where equivalent rights apply), you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
• Restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain cases
• Data portability — receive certain data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent

Exercise your rights: email legal@sanvikaproduction.com. We respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests, as permitted by law).

Complaint: you may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not handled your data lawfully.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and monitored infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children

The Service is for users aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
